Antoinette is a Lecturer at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
An ardent WSET Certified Wine Educator, Antoinette is a WSET Diploma Regional Award Winner. As founder of Wine For Life Learning, Antoinette has many years of experience in the wine trade from Wine Sales & Marketing Manager at one of the largest independent wine & spirit agencies in Canada through to wine buying as one of twelve Directors of the Independent Wine Buying Consortium (UK) and wine project management at SA Brains Brewery & Company (Cardiff, Wales).

Using the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting can be invigorating and can most definitely enhance our pleasure of enjoying wine, spirits and food. They can take us on unimagined adventures as we look towards understanding more about why they taste the way they do.
Wine For Life Learning is pleased to welcome Hugh Currell to the team. Hugh is a highly experienced wine and spirits leader and communicator, and is looking forward to teaching the WSET Levels 1 and 2 Award in Spirits, as well as the Levels 1 and 2 Award in Wines with Wine For Life Learning. Welcome Hugh!
Hugh is a qualified spirits taster and has been working in the drinks industry for several years alongside further education and training on WSET courses. Hugh enjoys whisky and mezcal among his favourite spirits with a keen interest in classic gin varieties.
With a Level 2 in Spirits qualification (passed with Distinction), Hugh enjoys teaching and talking about spirits and is hoping to study Level 3 in Spirits in 2023. Alongside teaching Hugh manages public events for spirit and wine tastings as well as providing private sessions in his hometown of Penarth. Prior to this Hugh has worked in a number of roles within hospitality as a cellarman and barman.
With six WSET qualifications Hugh passed his Level 3 in Wines with Merit in 2022 and has also taken the Level 1 in Sake. He has passed his Introductory Sommelier Certificate and is also studying the Level 4 Diploma in Wines.
